Doopsy™ is the most versatile product on the market today and
it can be easily proclaimed the “All in One Insert”.
Doopsy™ has qualities of an Insert, Doubler and, to a certain extent, Diaper
Cover. It can be used in pocket diapers or prefolds, fitted and All in
One diapers. It has a layer of waterproof PUL fabric that minimizes leaks
but, at the same time, it offers exceptional absorbency.
Here are some useful definitions to prove our point:
Diaper inserts are placed/inserted into pocket diapers to
do the absorbing. Pocket diapers have an inner fleece layer to wick away moisture
from the baby's skin. Some people prefer pocket diapers that don't automatically
come with one type of insert. That way, they are free to get the type of insert
they prefer and don't feel like they are being wasteful, by not using the insert
that came with the diaper. Others prefer a diaper that comes with an insert
for simplicity and economy. Not only is
Doopsy™ a great absorbant
insert but it also makes the “stuffing” of the pocket a lot easier

Diaper Doublers are added to prefolds, fitted diapers, or
AIO cloth diapers when more absorbency is needed. Doopsy can be a doubler,
also!
Liners are usually thin layers of fabric placed inside
a diaper, next to babies skin.
Flushable (disposable) diaper liners are used for easier cleanups. Other
types of diaper liners are used when you want a layer
of a particular fabric closest to babies skin - fleece liners or silk
liners for example.
Doopsy™ has a super soft Bamboo Double Loop Terry layer
that can be placed next to the baby’s skin. However, it is too
thick to be called a liner.
Diaper covers are made out of waterproof fabric and are placed over
the diaper (prefolds or fitted diapers), to keep the moisture in.
Doopsy™ has a layer of waterproof fabric. It will not completely replace
the cover but it certainly can do a great job in offering additional
leak protection.
