3. What are the benefits of having a PUL layer on the Insert?
The PUL layer on the inserts that come with the types "D" and "SD" Doopsy™ diapers has multiple advantages:
» Offers extra protection even though the Doopsy™ PUL fabric is high quality and breathable.
» Because Doopsy™ Inserts are UNIVERSAL, they can be used in any other type or brand of diapers including FITTED diapers. No snaps and no limitations on where to use it.
» If you love the fitted diapers but need the EXTRA PROTECTION when traveling or at night time the Doopsy™ insert comes very handy.
» If you have older diapers where the PUL layer is slightly damaged, you can use the Doopsy™ inserts and not worry about leaks. It is a lot cheaper to buy a Doopsy™ insert than buying a brand new diaper.
» Doopsy™ inserts are made in USA with high quality PUL, also made in USA.
4.What is the advantage of the folding technique used in Doopsy™ inserts?
They wash easier while open and dry much faster.
5. Is the Doopsy™ insert truly UNIVERSAL?
It is. We made Doopsy™ diapers with a new concept in mind. You get a One Size Pocket diaper with the same qualities that other well known brands have, but at the same time you get a UNIVERSAL insert that can be used in any other diaper you already have in your stash (Applies to Doopsy™ "D" and "SD").
If you are not interested in the Doopsy™ inserts, you can always buy the Doopsy™ "R" diaper that comes with 2 microfiber inserts (4 layers of microfiber per insert) and performs as well as other brands of One Size Pocket diapers with PUL fabric.
6. How about absorbency?
After numerous experiments we decided to use the highest absorbency type of fabrics in our Doopsy™ inserts: Bamboo and Hemp
We know that each baby is different and the need of different absorbency levels is very important.
This is the reason we included a removable extra absorbency pad in our Super Doopsy™ Insert. If Doopsy™ Insert is absorbant enough for you, don't use the extra absorbency pad.
